What else to report on? We'll I got ill again. We'll Fuck I mean AGAIN. It's like the third time this year already. My body apparantly is giving up. So I decided to cut on a few things. But furthermore anything is going great. I'm pretty busy doing stuff. Wait a minute wasn't that the problem? Hmm a plot unfolding...
I had a great time at the NYMNYR back to basics party. It was the first time I did a full 45 minute Gameboy breakcore set in Holland. I already did a few sets while being on tour in Germany but never in Holland.
The Vatican Analog Comp. CD has just ben released. Tommorow is the Optimus prime Noise fest @ NS16 in Tilburg. Where it will be presented. I delivered a new track for a compilation 12inch on the newly founded abnormaal records.

Got back from touring Germany. And what a cool ride it was. In Hannover I did gigs with my Neurobit project, with The meldy peaches and a Rioteer 8bit set. The crowd digged it all and went Ballistic. This was an awesome start of the tour!! And the good part was: Everything got recorded!!
On monday the 4th of february I did a Neurobit set at a small experimental event in Berlin. Good Cosy atmosphere and some good sets. With the Meldy Peaches we did an experimental improvisation set which went quite well. I'm still waiting for those recordings.
During the week I stayed in Berlin I was told to contact the organiser of a night in Potsdam for an exta rioteer 8bit gig. It was a nice night the room was packed. It was more of an Electro pop night with the band Egotronic Headlining. I was their opening act. So I guess for some people 8bit breakcore and jungle as a starter was kinda Intense. But the majority liked it. I did some of my jungle tracks live from my laptop as well.
In short the tour was a total winner. I met interesting people and heared some great new stuff. And now I'm sooo tired.
Tommorow there will be a Vatican Analog night. The theme is time is a birthday party with me being the birthday boy since it's my actual birthday tommorow. There will be cake, it will be sweet! Oh, and so you know, I'm turning 8 years old!.

26-1-2008 First news of the new year.
Well, first update of the new year. I've been sick as shit for the last weeks. So that's a nice start. But the good news is that I posted the order for CRACKBEATS RECORDS 02 today!! So we'll have ourselves a new record in a short time. Furthermore I'm going on a tour next week through Germany. I'm really looking forward to this. I got a new liveset with my 8bit side of breakcore and I'm going to do a 8bit breakcore set in Berlin as well.
Last month I finished the remix for the Joy division tribute compilation. At the moment I'm finishing my first Neurobit album. The title will be: Flatline Vortex - Falling between 2 worlds. There's already some interest for releasing this one but other parties interested in my Neurobit project can drop an email.
I updated the gig section as well!!.

Crackbeats was awesome. It was fucking sold out and rockin the whole night. I did some recordings of my set. It was a heavy one since I'm still terribly sick so I really had to keep myself walking the whole night. But anyway it was awaesome thanx to evrryone who came to witness it!

28-11-2007 exhausted
Well the header says it all. I'm exhausted. I had my last gig for this year probably. I had to say no to a lot of gig questions, to focus on my Study. Yesterday I did a Neurobit gig at "The Student" in Brussel. We ended up making a collective performance with a few other Vatican Analog members. It was nice. But I'm really tired rigfht now. It has been a busy week. Monday I finished the production work for the new Meldy Peaches release on a Belgium record label. Preparations have been made for the next crackbeats records release. I also finished the line up for the next Crackbeats party. This will be the new claim to fame:

08-11-2007 New gigs & minor injuries
Crackbeats was cool. Musically it was a good night and that is what matters. 2 gigs coming up. This weekend I'm playing at Goudvishal in Arnhem. The week after I'm playing in Den Bosch. Check the gig zone for details. It will be sweet. One small inconvenience. Yesterday I got myself a really nasty cut in one finger that bleeded badly and needed instant stitching. Walking to the doctor with a heavily bleeding hand with blood flowing everywhere is not quite a fun moment to pass your day. Especially if you got tons of things to do planned for that day. My schedule is busted. Everything is going so slow now cause it fucking hurts and I have to do everything lefthanded. I still hope I can do a decent liveset this saturday. Losing control while checking your hand hurting isn't working but we'll see. I'm aiming for it too much to cancel. Except when my finger falls off or turns black, than I'll probably will cancel...keep laughing ;)

01-11-2007 This weekend
This friday it's crackbeats time again. Because I've risen some curiousity about the opening set. Therefore I wrote a few notes on what to expect.
Expect the weirdest and strangest or maybe repulsive stuff in my collection on vinyl. Expect weird and sometimes useless remixes like an atempt to put the industrial gothrock of the band Alien Sex Fiend into a Trance remix. Or an atempt to make a Dancehall remix of a Transglobal underground track. The remix lacks all the groove Dancehall tracks have. What's left is a Too hard kick drum, strange vocals and several elements which just makes it all too much, just like Breakcore ;)
Or how about a one sided whitelabel giving Anarchy in the UK by the Sex pistols the Dirtorted Breakbeat treatment? Chemical tracks that are too lump for chemical, House tracks that were pressed too loud which makes them sound in a fucked up way. It all becomes pretty Hardcore.
Strange records and whitelabels that aren't even listed on discogs and are barely traceble but contain some wicked elements of strange music. Skipping test pressings or Flexi discs with strange recordings or advertising messages will be added to the fun as well. Gabber artist and labels doing tracks you don't expect them to release.
Ever heard a Rotterdam Terror corps record pressed on a record made of glue? As long as it is pressed. It will do.

I started to add pictures. Crackbeats # 7 and # 10 are on. It's a lots of work to sort and seek those pictures out. I have loads of them but put them everywere and nowhere. New releases are coming up as well. I delivered the track: Anarchy X for the Vatican analog Compilation. It will be out very soon. I also finished the Bleubird remix which will be released on a 12inch. I haven't got any release date for this one, but I'll post it here as soon as I have. Furthermore Crackbeats 2 will see daylight early 2008, A lot of tracks are finally finished and I'm preparing a demo cd with all these tracks and projects. Any labelowners who are reading this and might be seriuosly interested, let me know, I'll be more than happy to send it.
Another last thing that I want to share with you all are my djsets. I still have some frecordings of DJ sets and Mixdemos I did during the years. I used to drag these around to gigs and spread them. Now these recordings are just taking space on my drive. So I decided that I'm going to upload them on my website. As soon as I got the time I'll upload the first one, so please keep checking.

26-9-2007 Lots of stuff to report on...
Thanx to everyone who made crackbits 1.7 a succesfull night. It was sold out. I can imagine that for some people it was kinda of a shock to get used to the slightly different sound. But at the end of the day I think it was worthwhile. Music keeps developing and so should we. We need to try new things. After all we're not an oldstyle party ;)
I also need to thank the people who were at the Nieuwe nor in Heerlen the 15th. It was utter chaos, and a positive vibe. It's so cool to see that all these different people from different backgrounds/ subcultures etc.. who were there can go into a moshpit without ending up into a 'we're good you're bad' subculture fight. Trying to unite is what it's all about for me. It was good to see that people understood the message. It gave me new energy to do something positive with. Thanx for that!
The track Black it is.. got released on a compilation cd from ZXZW festival. It felt good to play there again. The timetable got a little mixed up so instead of an hour me and Autonon had only half an hour to deliver. But I think for a first time of joining sets it went great. For those who missed it I also did a set with the haters at the hall of fame. It was great to be part of that.
Furthermore I updated the gigs section.

Back from vacation. It was great. 2 weeks of doing nothing. Well, actually we did quite a lot! I recorded several new gameboy tracks for my Liveset. For those who haven't heard it yet. The new crackbeats will be on the 14th of september. It's going to be a little different. It will be called: Crackbits. We will do a night of 8bit Breakcore/Terror/Tekno and Noise or as we call it: Breakbits, Chipcore, nintendodrones & Micronoise... I really want to try this out. I want Crackbeats to keep evolving and pushing things further by trying out new ideas. I don't want to repeat myself over and over again, or the event for that matter. It's the first time a full 8bit Breakcore night is happening As well. So please come and support this idea. No Laptops on this ride! I'll publish the line up here as soon as everything is fully confirmed.

Ok lots of stuff to report on. New plans are being made. Lots of requests as well. Sometimes I can't keep on track ;) I'm going to publish a lot of new developments here but not untill everything is fully confirmed.
In 2 weeks I will be on Zakynthos in Greece for some serious laziness. But if there is an active underground scene on Zakynthos I'm always willing to do a gig or two. ;)
Lots of projects need finishing and mastering. So summer will be the ideal time to do this. Also projects beyond rioteer or collaborations that I'm involved in will be worked on.
It's going to be a busy summer Holiday.

The next Crackbeats party will take a while. 013, The venue where we do Crackbeats is closing down for reconstruction. The next Crackbeats will be the 14th of september. It will be a special one. You really need to be there
Furthermore plans are being made for the second Crackbeats release. I got lots of questions about the second release. Your support is awesome. I can't give any concrete info on the second release yet but I can say that there definately will be a second release. It might be there sooner than you think.
Other good news is that the "Gabberism and the subcultural behaviour pattern trap EP" will see release soon
And while we're talking about Crackbeats, a little word about the Crackbeats website. As some of you might have noticed it's not updated anymore. The reason is that there are major problems with the webhost. And we can't get it into their heads to fix it. At the moment we even can't login. So for updates on Crackbeats this website is the place till we get the crackbeats site on track again. This is a problem I personally can do nothing about but gives me a headache anyways

I agreed to take part in a tribute to Joy Division compilation. I have no idea who is going to tribute as well. Or what the exact plan is but when I figured it out I'll publish it here.

Vatican Analog also released a new CD-r with a Rioteer track. Vatican Analog released Britney Spears an all American Slave last wednesday on the Vatican Analog night. The Rioteer track is called Bullwhipped into slavery. If you want a copy... bad luck I guess you had to be there last wednesday. Only 50 copies were available. Check your local soulseek dealer in a few weeks.
First of all: Thanx to everyone who made Crackbeats 15 a success. The next one will be on the 4th of may. Something special will happen, can’t say what, but I’m looking forward to it.
